Save the date for a two-day intensive training designed to equip you for leadership in your local.

Day One: Officer Training
Union Maintenance — Local elected officers will learn the essential day-to-day governance responsibilities of your roles: managing meetings, communications, finances, membership records, and more.
Day Two: Leadership Academy
Union Building — Members excited about building power in their local will be equipped to build strong organizing teams and strategize and plan for a spring of membership recruitment as we prepare for the next round of contract negotiations.
All local and statewide officers will be invited to Officer Training on day one, where you’ll gain the practical tools and clarity needed to be effective in your position from the start.
On day two, the Leadership Academy is open to all member leaders, as well as other member organizers, such as contract action leaders and civic engagement officers, to focus on how we will build power in 2026.
