Sample message to invite members to Meet-Ups to call Elected Officials

As MAPE members, it’s time for us to step up and speak out! Both federal funding and state funding are in jeopardy for many of our jobs. These budgets are set by our elected officials, which is why we are hosting lunch meet-ups for the next week to coordinate calling our U.S. Senator, U.S Congressperson, State Senator and State Representative and share with them the important work we all do for the state. 

Join us at one (or more!) of the upcoming dates. Click on the date to add it to your calendar. The virtual meeting link is included in the meeting notes.  

All the meet-ups run from 12-12:30 p.m.
