You’re invited! Members gathering for burgers and bout

With cold weather sweeping the state, it’s a great time to find a fun inside activity. Local 301 is extending an invitation to all MAPE members to attend the Minnesota Roller Derby on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. Grab dinner ahead of time at Burger Moe’s at 4 p.m.

“Come join us at the bout! What is a ‘bout’ you might ask? That’s the term used for a roller derby match! Yup, get that MN accent on,” explained Leya Charles, Local 301 Treasurer and lead planner for the event. “We are hoping to get 100 members there. All are welcome, so feel free to forward the invitation to other MAPE members.”

The MAPE group will get 10% off using this link. Purchase balcony seating in Section 202-203. Kids age nine and under are free with an adult general admission ticket. Other seats are available if those sections are full.
