MAPE is planning an action at the MnDOT Training and Conference Center in Shoreview on Wednesday, June 21, at 7:30 a.m. while negotiators are arriving for the day. Registration is open in the portal.

Join MAPE members and leaders are we joyfully fight for a contract we deserve. Join us to march to the MNDOT training facility where our elected negotiators and MMB will be meeting. The event will kick off at 7:35 a.m. and will have a short program them members will be marching over to share their support for a strong contract. Please bring walkable clothing, water, and wear your MAPE blues!  

Everyone is welcome including family members, community members, and advocates for unions!

Parking information: 

People can park on a first come first serve basis in the Rice Creek Regional Trail Access lot that is on the north side of County Road I across the street from MnDOT facility (1900 County Road I West, Shoreview).

If the lot is full marshals will point you to the street parking on Schutta Road down the street. Please DO NOT park in the MNDOT facility lot. There is a sidewalk from Schutta road that will take you to the parking lot of the Regional Trail.  

Please carpool if you can!  

What to bring: 

• Wear your MAPE blues! If you don’t have a MAPE shirt, wear something dark blue. We will have shirts available on a first come first serve basis. 

• Wear shoes you can walk in and clothes appropriate for the weather.  

• Bring noise makers, signs, and your MAPE buttons!  

When to get there:  

Please arrive by 7:30am, the program will start at 7:35am and we don’t want you to miss any of it!
