Pass Alec Smith Emergency Insulin Act
The price of insulin has skyrocketed over the past decade. Gov. Walz and DFL legislators recently pre-filed the Alec Smith Emergency Insulin Act, named in honor of MAPE member Nicole Smith-Holt’s son who died after rationing his insulin because he couldn’t afford his $1,300 monthly prescription.
