Member shares COVID experience with Rochester rep-elect
MAPE member Angela Christle participated in a round table discussion with newly elected Rep. Liz Boldon and other Rochester constituents earlier this week. The group met with the 2021 budget in mind, discussing their COVID-19 experiences and how the state can help residents weather the pandemic. Christle shared about her work helping those who have lost their vision maintain a sense of dignity as they age, continuing to live independently in their homes as long as possible.
“As the pandemic continues to run through our state, we still have that mission to help people maintain their independence as best they can and to keep them living in their homes, where it is familiar to them,” said Christle. “This mission is even more critical now and it has become significantly more challenging to … help them stay independent.”
