MAPE Endorses Keith Ellison for Attorney General

The Minnesota Association of Professional Employees’ (MAPE) Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Keith Ellison for re-election as Minnesota Attorney General.

“Attorney General Ellison has a decades-long record of standing up for workers and their families. For the past three years as Attorney General, he fought for those same values by protecting consumers and tenants from predatory behavior and prosecuting numerous cases of wage theft,” MAPE President Megan Dayton said.

Ellison served in the Minnesota House of Representatives for four years and during this time championed issues important to MAPE members including fair contracts, employee whistleblower protections, worker rights, safety and proper state agency funding.

“As a member of Congress, Ellison championed consumer, worker and civil rights protections to defend the rights of Minnesotans. As Attorney General, he continues to fight for fair wages, affordable health care and consumer protections. We believe Attorney General Ellison is more than qualified to continue as Minnesota’s Attorney General,” MAPE PAC Board Chair Monica Weber added.

MAPE represents 15,000 professional state employees.
