Honoring our Veterans

"This Veteran’s Day, and always, I’m grateful for our nation’s veteran heroes, who have helped make this world a better place with their courage, sacrifice and dedication to our country. With special appreciation to our Minnesota veterans, and MAPE members who have served, thank you for all you did for our country. We are a nation filled with promise for tomorrow thanks to our history shaped by heroes like you. As a proud citizen who lives in freedom, I will always be grateful to those who helped preserve it."

Reminder: The Official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Event will be held Friday, Nov. 11 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. This event is hosted by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and it is open to all community members to honor our Veterans. Prior to the program, there is a free community breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
