Help negotiate your raises and benefits
Help negotiate your raises, health care and other benefits. As a member of MAPE, you can do that. You have a seat at the bargaining table. Provide input in-person to your regional negotiations representative, online through the MAPE website or run for office to join the Negotiations Team.
Union wage earners make an average of $3.51 more per hour than non-union workers ("Employee benefits in the United States" -- July 11, 2012).
Why? Historically, MAPE members have voted to maintain fair wages and above-average health-care coverage. Here's a look at what our collective bargaining has achieved just since 2000.
