Organizing as a Steward
Besides a grievance, how else can we resolve problems with organizing? Stewards will learn how to move non-grievance issues into action through engaging their membership and utilizing common methods of organizing.
The first session* of this three-part training series will help stewards understand how movements of the past have organized people, ideas, and resources, in order to effect change. Stewards will also learn how to plan and implement issue campaigns and direct actions in the workplace.
*Please note that the May 10 session has met capacity for registration. Future OST dates are: September 13 and November 1.
