What would you do with an extra eight hours each week?

In the last century, worker productivity has increased by 400%, yet we as workers have seen few of those gains. We’re asked to do more at work than ever before while also trying to manage households, maintain and build relationships with family and friends, and maybe nurture hobbies and interests on top of that.

Hundreds of companies around the world have piloted the 80-100-100 model: 80% of the time, 100% salary, 100% productivity. The vast majority of these companies have realized that it works and made the change permanent.

A forty-hour workweek was once revolutionary, with workers fighting to win it until it became law. We believe it is time to continue that fight and win a 32-hour work week!

The different jobs across the enterprise mean that we need to think creatively about how we could accomplish this in ways that would work for us as well as the Minnesotans that we serve every day. Please join us for an information session to learn how you can join your colleagues across the state in organizing to take back our time and share your thoughts on how we can make a 32-hour workweek work.

If you can’t make the session, or if you want to talk more about a 32-hour workweek, please reach out to the grassroots 32-hour workweek team at 32mape@gmail.com.
