Contacting new members
Every two weeks you will receive an updated list of your Local. The list reflects anyone who has joined or left the bargaining unit. Typically, Membership Secretaries reach out to anyone new to the bargaining unit. You will also see who has joined as a member. Local Officers should decide who follows up with new members.
After calling them, you can send a follow-up email with additional resources. Here are some sample messages. Edit to your liking.
