State workers march in response to federal funding cuts, agency layoffs on April 10
Media availability at 12:30 p.m. in front of Centennial Office Building
St. Paul, MN – State workers are marching Thursday, April 10, at noon from the Freeman Office Building to the Centennial Office Building in response to the White House Administration’s federal funding cuts fallout, felt most acutely by the 170 Minnesota Dept. of Health (MDH) workers laid off last week.
Impacted members from Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE) will be available for media interviews at the end of the march. Workers will talk about the detrimental ripple effects from federal funding cuts that will be felt by all Minnesotans. Media availability will be in front of Centennial Office Building at 12:30 p.m.
