Veterans Supply Drive

Region 8 is sponsoring a supply drive in honor of Veterans Day. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. Collection bins will be located at worksites in Region 8, or drop off items at MAPE Central (3460 Lexington Ave N, Shoreview, MN 55126) on Saturday, Oct. 24, noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, noon to 3 p.m. 

The supply drive will support Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) , whose mission is to end veteran homelessness. Veterans experience unemployment and homelessness at a higher rate than the public. We will be collecting supplies for move-in and hygiene kits. If you can volunteer to help assemble kits and organize extra supplies for donation on the MAPE Central donation days, please email VP Maureen Dunaway at mdunaway@mape.org.
