MAPE  joined other local union members to provide food to families in Brooklyn Park last weekend. The free food giveaway was hosted by IBEW Local 292.

Several cities in northern and central Minnesota received truckloads of fresh food, vegetables and milk from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farmers to Families program.

“What was special about this opportunity was it was put on by several local union organizations. It was great to show that MAPE members support it, too – and show our solidarity and desire to help,” MAPE Region 11 Director Jessica Raptis said.
