Political Council seeks feedback

The MAPE political issues platform identifies organizational stances on issues in accordance with our guiding principles. This list is reviewed annually by membership, updated by the Political Council, and endorsed by the MAPE Delegate Assembly. While the amount of time and resources MAPE devotes to any specific issue each year may vary depending on political timing, strategy, and/or capacity. MAPE stands by and encourages MAPE members’ advocacy of the items within the platform.

• The Political Council is seeking feedback on our current platform until July 30

• The Political Council will review and consider the feedback, and make updates, and finalize the platform at its August meeting, held August 1, 2025

• There will be a forum to discuss the legislative platform on Aug 16 ahead of delegate assembly's endorsement of the platform (information to forum) 

• Delegate Assembly will vote to endorse the platform in September
