Meet-and-Confer Minutes

1. Attendance: 

For MAPE: Scott Beutel, Jill Keen 

For management: Rowzat Shipchandler, Peter Zuniga

 

2. Hay process / Range Reassignment / EO3 position

 

There is no update.  Rowzat Shipchandler expressed management’s disappointment at the length of the process. At this point, the raters need to reconvene.  Jodie Segelstrom will attend a meeting tomorrow (Jan. 4, 2019), which may take the process forward.

 

Before the meeting, MAPE requested copies of Hay-related correspondence between Human Resources and MMB.  Rowzat Shipchandler reported that management has no additional correspondence to provide.

 

Rowzat Shipchandler stated that she will present concerns about range reassignment to the incoming commissioner.

 

3. Transition issues

 

Staff learned of the new commissioner at the all-staff lunch earlier today.

 

4. Miscellaneous

 

There were no additional issues to bring before the committee.

 

5. Tentative scheduling of next meeting is 9:00 AM - 10:0 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
