Bilingual/Multilingual/Sign Language Differential Pilot reinstated

MAPE’s Negotiations and Executive Committees have approved a Memorandum of Understanding that will reinstate differential pay for Bilingual/Multilingual/Sign Language Pilot participants. We are waiting for MMB’s signatures. This MOU does not create a new benefit or expand eligibility; it simply preserves the employer’s ability to pay differentials for employees who perform bilingual or multilingual work, a pilot that was part of our 2023–2025 contract but expired upon ratification of the 2025–2027 agreement.
