2026 Lobby Day Rally and Lobbying your Legislators

Lobby Day 2026 is going to look a little different this year, due to the length of session and the policy year focus.  

We are holding an all-call MAPE Lobby Day Rally on March 24 at 12 p.m. on the Capitol Lawn – sign up now! Since the rally is held over the lunch hour, MAPE Central will not cover lost time for the rally. However, Locals can choose to include lost time funding for the Lobby Day Rally in their 2026 budgets. 

Our MAPE Lobbying Your Legislators meetings are also looking a little different this year. To focus on our legislative agenda and messaging on revenue, we will have smaller delegations of up to five members per House district lobby visit and 10 members for Senate District. Lobby visits for districts in Greater Minnesota will take place on March 24. Lobby visits for districts in the Metro area will take place over a couple of weeks. Political Council members and/or MAPE Political and Legislative staff will be attending the lobby visits to support the work and help with follow-up.
