Capitol Lobby Day
We are back with an in-person Capitol Lobby Day this year!
Join your fellow MAPE members for a half day at the Capitol to meet your legislators. Strong support at the legislature for fully funded agencies and a strong MAPE contract starts with you!
Telling your story is the most powerful action you can take to help us win a strong tentative contract agreement and ensure fully funded budgets.
Watch MAPE's online Lobby Day training here or by clicking the video image below.
Here’s a general outline of what’s in store.
Pre-Lobby Day Virtual Training – March 14 or 16 at 12 p.m., March 20 at 5:30 p.m.
Learn all you need to know to meet with your legislator! We will practice the conversation, connect you with your fellow constituents, and provide logistics.

Transportation and Lost Time
In the Portal registration, we’re gauging interest in two bussing options for members to attend Lobby Day most conveniently. If you are from Greater Minnesota and would be interested in being bussed from a central location near you to Shoreview for Lobby Day, please indicate so.
We’re also considering a bus from the Shoreview Community Center to the Capitol for all participants. If this is of interest to you, please notate that as well. These are two different busing/carpooling options.
Lost time, lunch at the Shoreview Community Center and transportation arrangements will be paid for by MAPE (not your local).
First 200 registrants will receive a MAPE scarf, so sign up today!
