12 noon meeting – Fergus Falls DNR Office

Attending-Glenn Donnay, Greg Boole, Jeff Haukos, Rebecca Tonneson, Jill DeBrito, Lynette Starin, Joe Mariotti, Tony Mariotti, Kyle Johnson, Al Pendergrass, Neil Haugerud, Amy Childers, Christi Dickey, Jeff Gruegel

Discussion of MAPE Day of the Hill by Donnay, Elections for Delegate Assembly. Kyle Johnson was nominated to run for Delegate or Alternate for 1602.

Greg Boole discussed the long term plan for MAPE and member concerns. Discussion followed, issue of going to three year contracts was discussed. The central motor pool is now being privatized, this is a dangerous and inefficient trend in State government.

Regional Elections discussed, Boole nominated to run for Region 16 Director. Nominations will close by May 15th of 2008.

Arbitration and ERC committee discussed.

Check to deliver to Browns Valley was discussed.

Concerns with medication coverage were discussed.

1602 Budget for 2008 was discussed, an increase was discussed for added meetings and support for Douglas, Pope, and Morris area meetings.

Meeting was adjourned at 1:12 p.m.

Glenn Donnay, Joe McMahon, Doug Heike, Neil Haugerud, Amy Childers, 6 other DNR staff attended.

MAPE Day on the Hill discussed, motion 2nd, to send representatives to the capitol to support legislation and MAPE. Mileage, meals, to be paid. Motion passed.

Discussion of $150.00 checks to Rushford, and Browns Valley for flood relief. Money had been approved at an earlier meeting.

Discussion of upcoming regional elections for Delegate Assembly, Region 16 Director, and Negotiator.

Support for the MAPE contract, legislation on raid on MSRS funds, state budget by McMahon.

Visit to Jobs and Training office, no MAPE staff were present.

Health Dept. 12:00 noon Meeting continued.
