Meeting called to order at 12:15 PM by Josh Bergeron.

Julia Adams, Rich Blaalid Josh Bergeron and Gwen Williams present. Also present were Business agent Sheila Pokorny and Second VP Jocelyn Stein

Approximately 25 members in attendance.

Chinese food was served.

President’s Report (Josh):

• Julia, Rich and Gwen attended new officer training in October and found it to be valuable training.
• M/S/P to approve previous meeting’s minutes automatically without a vote after calling for changes, corrections, or additions to them at the beginning of the meeting.

Minutes approved and accepted with no changes

Treasurer’s Report (Julia):

• presented proposed 2006 budget.
• M/S/P to approve proposed 2006 budget with the following change:

“Training” changed to “Steward Training and Activities”

• Julia has received the Checkbook for 1203.

Business Agent Sheila Pokorny:

• No grievances in 1203.
• Region 12 will lose many members with large agency move to new buildings. 1201 may cease to exist and 1203 local’s number may change.

• Andy Bindman was elected First VP so Region 12 no longer has a director. As a result, Rich or Josh may be asked to serve temporarily on the Board of Directors.
• Dec. 1 is next Meet and Confer meeting with BCA Administration. If there is any old business or new issues talk to Josh or Rich.

Second Vice President Jocelyn Stein:

• Spoke about increasing the number of full members and how that affects MAPE bargaining power and budget.
• Reminded us the Access discount programs will more than make up for the extra $1.80 a month in dues to be a full member.

David P. Peterson (“Dusty”) gave an update on the meet and confer process about crime scene clothing.

Chinese food was well received and it was agreed to serve it again at the next meeting.
