Congratulations to MAPE on ratification of new contract ...

MAPE President Joe Rolfer received the following letter today:

Congratulations on your contract ratification. From the highlights, it seems like a very fair contract for your members. With the continuous drive to take away workers’ rights across America , it is refreshing to see a contract get ratified that gives pay raises instead of pay concessions.

I want to thank MAPE for the hard work that has gone into obtaining this contract and giving labor some hope again. Labor certainly needs hope these days and I personally have a warm feeling inside from your accomplishments.

I hope you can relay my message to all your Locals’ leadership.
